Gators football program in trouble?

With the recent news that now at least seven Florida Gators football players have faced legal issues -- from misdemeanors to felonies -- since their school's national-title win on Jan. 8, 2007 ... is this a signal that head coach Urban Meyer is already losing control of his team?

What does this say about the "caliber of character" he has on his team? Do you think Meyer can get his ship back in shape?

The sage who posed this question is wise. Florida has just lost their 3rd game...to a team that got pasted by the Vols and squeaked by Vandy. In addition Richt even pulled a Florida-like psche job after that 1st touchdown. Things were not and are not right in Gainesville.

Perhaps that posting from earlier in the year was a predictor of things to come? The downfall of the defending National Champs ... Now, that game coming up against Ol' Ballcoach carries a whole new level of seriousness. An SC win could put them in ATL for SEC title game, and drop the Gators to a, dare we say "Zook-ish" 4-loss season? (that's if they don't also lose to FSU)
